The School of Marxism of Bengbu College of Technology and Business (BCTB) was established in March 2021, formerly belonging to the Basic Teaching Department of BCTB.


As one of the university's independent secondary teaching institutions, the School of Marxism is responsible for the education and teaching of seven Ideological and Political Theory courses for all students. The university attaches great importance to the teaching and construction of these courses, with leaders frequently attending classes and supporting the development of the department. The faculty has achieved excellent results in teaching reform, scientific research, and social services, receiving recognition and praise from higher authorities.


The school currently has 33 faculty members, including 32 full-time teachers (consisting of 4 professors, 8 associate professors, 10 lecturers, and 10 assistant lecturers). Their professional backgrounds span various disciplines such as philosophy, law, history, and education. The team includes two experts from the Ministry of Education's undergraduate teaching evaluation committee, one member of the Provincial Ideological and Political Course Teaching Steering Committee, and several individuals recognized as influential figures in ideological and political education at both national and provincial levels. The school strives to build a new platform for ideological education, making these courses essential life lessons that students truly love and benefit from for a lifetime.


Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the school adheres to the socialist orientation in education and the fundamental task of Linglei Shuren (fostering virtue through education). It focuses on undergraduate teaching, faculty development, curriculum construction, and academic research. Since its establishment, the school has secured one provincial-level teaching team project, five provincial-level humanities research projects, and three university-level teaching research projects. Additionally, it has conducted nine sessions of Party History Learning practical teaching and organized over 20 lectures by the Serving the People presentation group to promote the Party's principles and the spirit of the 20th National Congress in grassroots communities.
