The school offers six majors: English (Business English direction), Advertising, Visual Communication Design, Product Design, Network and New Media, and Digital Media Art. It is responsible for providing public English and College Chinese courses for the entire college and serves as a vital carrier for the school's aesthetic education. Currently, the school has a total of 94 teachers, with 90% holding a master's degree or higher, including 4 professors and 9 associate professors. It possesses 22 laboratories, including multimedia language rooms, photography studios, advertising design labs, comprehensive model labs, virtual art labs, and pottery workshops. Since 2017, the school's faculty has published numerous papers and secured over 30 pedagogical and scientific research projects. They have won 11 awards in teaching competitions at or above the provincial level and over 300 awards in disciplinary competitions, demonstrating significant teaching effectiveness.

The school adheres to the guiding principle of application-oriented education and fully considers the development trends of the employment market. It not only offers disciplinary foundation courses and professional core courses closely related to professional development but also incorporates teaching modules such as career guidance, innovation and entrepreneurship, and social practice. To better strengthen students' practical application skills, the English major (Business English direction) focuses on cultivating students' international vision, cross-cultural awareness, and business communication abilities while consolidating their language skills. The Advertising major adopts a learning through competition teaching method, integrating disciplinary competitions throughout the professional curriculum to deepen students' understanding and recognition of the media industry and enhance their comprehensive planning capabilities. The teaching in the Art Department closely integrates design skills with social practice, focusing on the development trends of traditional culture and modern civilization to shape students' strong sense of innovation and entrepreneurship.
