Overview and History
Bengbu College of Technology and Business (BCTB) is a comprehensive undergraduate institution with a primary focus on Economics and Management, complemented by a coordinated development of disciplines across Literature, Science, Engineering, and the Arts. Founded in June 2003, the university was formerly the Business College of Anhui University of Finance and Economics—a full-time independent undergraduate college. BCTB was granted the authority to confer bachelor's degrees in 2012 and was officially established as an independent private university in March 2020 following approval by the Ministry of Education.
Campus Facilities and Resources
The campus is located on the eastern side of the Tushan Scenic Area in the Yuhui District of Bengbu, covering an area of 1,000 mu (approx. 165 acres). Current facilities include:
Teaching and Research Infrastructure: 270,000 square meters of floor space and research equipment valued at 50 million RMB.
Specialized Laboratories: Facilities for accounting informatics, financial investment, digital media design, and AI, equipped with industry-standard software such as Yonyou, Flush, and Reas.
Library and Information Services: A 22,000 $m^2$ library housing over 700,000 physical volumes and 4.5 million digital resources, featuring study rooms, seminar spaces, and high-speed digital networking.

The University comprises nine teaching units, including the School of Accounting and Finance, the School of Economics and Finance, the School of Management, the School of International Business, the School of Humanities and Arts, the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, the School of Data Science and Applications, the School of Marxism, and the Department of Physical Education

Interdisciplinary Focus: A curriculum model defined as Economics and Management as the core, with Literature, Art, Science, and Engineering as extensions.
