The School of International Business is a dynamic academic institution dedicated to cultivating high-quality, export-oriented applied talents that meet the needs of regional economic and social development.

The School's roots trace back to the Department of International Business of the Business School of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, which was the first department established when the Business School was founded in 2003. In March 2020, following the approval of the Ministry of Education, the Business School officially transitioned into the Bengbu College of Technology and Business (BCTB). A year later, in March 2021, the Department of International Business was formally renamed the School of International Business.

The School operates two teaching departments—International Economics & Trade and International Business—along with an Experimental Training Center. It currently offers three undergraduate majors: International Economics and Trade, International Business, Cross-border E-commerce. Notably, the International Economics and Trade program was recognized as a provincial-level first-class major construction site in 2021.

The School maintains a highly qualified faculty with a balanced structure in terms of professional titles, academic credentials, and age. Out of 34 full-time teachers: 10 hold senior professional titles (29.41%); 7 possess doctoral degrees (20.59%); 12 have overseas study experience (35.29%), reflecting a strong international perspective; 6 have corporate experience (17.65%), contributing to a robust double-qualified teaching team.

The faculty includes distinguished award winners from the National Higher Education Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition and various provincial-level teaching masters and outstanding young scholars.

Emphasis is placed on an export-oriented bilingual teaching model and the integration of cutting-edge courses to ensure graduates are well-matched with industry needs. The School actively encourages students to participate in prestigious national and provincial competitions, such as the National Undergraduate E-commerce Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Challenge and the China International College Students' Innovation Competition. In recent years, students have secured over 20 first-class and 50 second-class awards at these levels.

To enhance practical skills, the School has established diverse off-campus internship bases in collaboration with organizations like the Zhongheng Group, the Bengbu Chamber of Commerce, and the Bengbu Free Trade Zone. Graduates are highly regarded by employers for their comprehensive quality. The average employment rates for the classes of 2023 and 2024 were impressively high, reaching 97.08% and 97.16%, respectively.
