On July 14, President Liu Fucheng led a delegation from Bengbu College of Technology and Business (BCTB) to Dalian University of Finance and Economics for a study visit. Jiang Feng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC BCTB Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission; Li Ming, Director of the Party and Government Office; and Wang Jinlong, Director of the Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Center, joined the visit.
During the discussion, Yao Enquan, President of Dalian University of Finance and Economics, introduced the university's basic situation. He noted that the university has consistently adhered to its application-oriented educational mission and continued to deepen educational and teaching reforms. He expressed the hope that the two universities would take this exchange as an opportunity to strengthen mutual learning and cooperation and jointly explore new pathways for the high-quality development of private universities specializing in finance and economics.
Liu Fucheng introduced BCTB's development history, educational characteristics, and achievements in talent cultivation. He noted that BCTB has continuously strengthened its development in substance and quality and adopted multiple measures to improve the quality of talent cultivation. He pointed out that the two universities have similar educational backgrounds and share many commonalities in their educational missions and approaches to talent cultivation. He expressed the hope that the visit would further strengthen inter-university exchanges and cooperation, promote mutual sharing of experience in areas such as institutional development, faculty training, and academic discipline and program development, and jointly enhance the quality of education.
Participants from both universities engaged in discussions and exchanges on topics including the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment, application-oriented talent cultivation models, and academic discipline and program development.
Following the discussion, the delegation led by Liu Fucheng toured the campus of Dalian University of Finance and Economics, visiting the one-stop student community, teaching buildings, library, experimental and practical training center, and other facilities.
