BCTB Faculty Member Invited to Present at the Kaihua Forum on Rural Revitalization

On July 22, the Kaihua Forum, guided by the China Center for Poverty Alleviation Studies of the National Rural Revitalization Administration and jointly hosted by the School of Humanities and Development of China Agricultural University and the People's Government of Kaihua County, Zhejiang Province, was held in Kaihua County. More than 300 senior experts, young scholars, policy makers, and grassroots practitioners engaged in rural revitalization gathered together.



Distinguished guests who attended and delivered speeches included Li Peilin, Member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Vice Chairman of the Social Development Committee, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Zhao Changbao, First-level Inspector of the Department of Policy and Reform of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Li Peijing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China Agricultural University; Lu Xiaguang, Secretary of the CPC Kaihua County Committee; Mao Xianming, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Kaihua County Committee and Magistrate of Kaihua County; and Ye Jingzhong, Dean of the School of Humanities and Development of China Agricultural University. Subsequently, 16 specially appointed professors and young scholars from national talent programs delivered keynote speeches. In addition, 89 experts, scholars, doctoral and master’s students, and grassroots practitioners held in-depth discussions on topics such as grassroots Party building, rural land systems, rural talent revitalization, rural teacher development, and innovation in rural governance.




Ms. Xu Xiajing from the School of Accounting of our university was invited to attend this academic conference and delivered an academic report titled Quantitative Evaluation of Poverty Alleviation Policies in the Yangtze River Delta: From the Perspective of Effective Connection with Rural Revitalization.




Through this academic exchange, the scientific research capabilities of our university's young teachers have been further enhanced. Simultaneously, it promotes academic research and practical exploration into how accounting talent cultivation in local applied universities can contribute to the great cause of rural revitalization.
