To deepen the integration of industry and education and promote the precise alignment of talent cultivation with corporate needs, a delegation from the School of Management at Bengbu College of Technology and Business (BCTB) visited the China Unicom Bengbu Branch for in-depth exchange on April 15. The delegation included Wang Jinlong (Dean of the School of Management), Ruan Jinbing (Secretary of the General Party Branch), and Jin Nuo (Vice Dean). They were warmly received by Chen Xi (Deputy General Manager of Bengbu Unicom), Wu Ruofeng (General Manager of the County Branch), and Dai Xuelei (Marketing Manager). The visit began at 9:30 AM with a tour of the 5G Technology Exhibition Hall and the Employee Home. In the exhibition hall, the delegation gained detailed insights into 5G applications, digital transformation achievements, and industry solutions, experiencing firsthand how communication technology empowers industrial development. At the Employee Home, they learned about the company's talent cultivation, corporate culture, and employee development systems, establishing a foundation for cooperative talent training. A symposium followed at 10:00 AM, chaired by Deputy General Manager Chen Xi. During the meeting, Chen Xi introduced Bengbu Unicom's development history, business layout, and talent requirements, expressing a strong desire to co-cultivate applied talents. Dean Wang Jinlong introduced the School of Management's professional construction and talent cultivation models, emphasizing the commitment to training high-quality managers tailored to market needs and regional economic growth. Secretary Ruan Jinbing expressed high recognition of Bengbu Unicom’s achievements and proposed all-around cooperation to achieve a win-win for talent and industry. Vice Dean Jin Nuo suggested practical cooperation in areas such as course co-construction and bringing entrepreneurs into the classroom to align student training with real-world job requirements. A highlight of the event was the official signing of a cooperation agreement between Dean Wang Jinlong and Deputy General Manager Chen Xi, followed by the unveiling of the School-Enterprise Cooperation Base. This marks the beginning of a substantive and regularized partnership. Both parties then discussed internship base construction, student employment, research collaboration, and faculty exchange, reaching a high level of consensus on resource sharing. This exchange is a significant step for BCTB’s School of Management in expanding employment channels and for Bengbu Unicom in fulfilling its social responsibility. Moving forward, both parties will leverage their respective strengths in talent cultivation and industrial practice to create a new model of collaborative education, fostering more outstanding applied talents for high-quality regional development.
