Event Kick-off and Official Recognition
On the afternoon of March 5, 2026, the Bengbu municipal theme volunteer service activity for the March 5th Learn-from-Lei-Feng Commemoration Day was grandly launched at Huaihe Culture Square. Wang Anding, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department, attended the opening ceremony.
During the ceremony, the Yu Xiaoqing Rural Revitalization Public Welfare Action, initiated by the School of Humanities and Arts at Bengbu College of Technology and Business (BCTB), was showcased as an outstanding model for municipal volunteer service. It became a vibrant highlight of the event. During the exhibition, municipal leaders including Wang Anding visited the Yu Xiaoqing booth to listen to a report from the project leader, Zhu Jie. They learned in detail about the project's operational mechanism, practical service achievements, and brand-building progress, giving high attention and full recognition to the team's work.

In recent years, the BCTB Yu Xiaoqing Volunteer Service Team has remained steadfast in its original mission and youthful perspective. They have deeply cultivated key areas such as rural education, public welfare student aid, and cultural inheritance. By maintaining a regularized, professional, and branded approach to volunteer service, they fulfill the mission of youth in the new era with practical actions, fully demonstrating the firm commitment and spiritual outlook of university students in serving society and the people.
The appearance of Yu Xiaoqing as a core representative in this municipal theme activity is not only a high recognition of the team's efforts but also highlights its exemplary and benchmark role within the city's youth volunteer service system. It significantly enhances the social influence and reputation of the university's volunteer service brand.
Future Strategy: Yu Xiaoqing Version 2.0
Moving forward, Yu Xiaoqing will aim for a higher standing and undertake a greater mission. Building on current achievements, the team will align closely with national strategies and regional development goals, such as rural revitalization (with education at its core) and rural community governance. They plan to deeply collaborate with the Bengbu Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Yuhui District Youth League Committee, and various university resources.
Adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the team will strive to create Yu Xiaoqing 2.0. This upgrade will focus on three major breakthroughs:
Transitioning from simple student aid to multifaceted empowerment.
Deepening the transition from campus practice to school-local government co-construction.
Extending from education services to active participation in social governance.
While remaining committed to the core goal of revitalizing rural education, the initiative will promote the synchronized growth of university students' professional skills, the development of the supported groups, and the enhancement of community governance effectiveness.
